On paper, the two of us couldn’t be more different. One is a Republican dairy farmer from the Upper Peninsula; the other a Democratic social worker from Detroit. Yet, for all our differences, we are working together on an issue that knows no political, geographic, social, or economic boundaries – Michigan’s out-of-control auto insurance rates.
